What's the difference between pure heroin and cut heroin?

I know shooting up pure, uncut heroin will basically kill you instantly, but what does it mean when you "cut" heroin? I don't ever plan on doing heroin, or any other drug for that matter, I'm just curious. Thanks. I'm not going to do heroin!

basically pure is 100% & cut meaning it's mixed w/t stuff like acidtone or baking soda to make it less potent...but still the same amount of powder or substance
Heroin brings death and destruction to the user and destruction to families of that user.. STOP AND THINK OF THE CONSEQUENCES.
Cut means the percentage of actual heroin is lowered by an agent such as baking soda or ether (not 100% about the ether, lol) How potent the drug is depends on the amount of the agent that's added to it.
pure uncut heroin will kill you instantly - WRONG. Only if the dose is too high. Cutting is done with all kinds of junk that is more damaging than the drug itself. People using medically prescribed heroin can function quite normally.
when you have "uncut" heroin your purity starts around 90% the term "cutting" means mixing other chemicals into the batch to give it more weight, so you get more money for your batch. these chemicals can be anything from vitimans, to benadryl, hell even ajax. (not that this is at all recomended) buy the time its street level heroin its only 5-10% heroin
